About 314 Accounting
314 Accounting provides bookkeeping, cleanup, reconciliations, and reporting support for small businesses that need stronger financial organization and clearer visibility into their numbers.
The goal is simple: help business owners move away from messy records, unanswered questions, and last-minute financial stress — and toward a cleaner, more reliable bookkeeping process that supports better decisions.
For many small businesses, the challenge is not just getting transactions recorded. It is making sure the books are accurate, current, organized, and actually useful. That is the gap 314 Accounting is designed to fill.
Meet Brandon
I’m Brandon Barchet, founder of 314 Accounting.
I started 314 Accounting to provide the kind of bookkeeping support many small businesses actually need: practical, detail-oriented help that brings order to the books and makes the financial side of the business easier to manage.
My background is in hands-on accounting work across reconciliations, month-end close, financial cleanup, reporting, and process improvement. Over the years, I have worked through messy account balances, disorganized records, broken processes, and reporting issues that make it harder for businesses to understand where they really stand.
That experience shaped the way I approach this work. Good bookkeeping should do more than keep the software updated. It should create structure, reduce uncertainty, and give business owners more confidence in the numbers behind the business.
A Practical Approach to Bookkeeping
314 Accounting is built around the idea that bookkeeping should be accurate, organized, and useful.
That means:
cleaning up issues rather than working around them
reconciling accounts carefully
keeping records current and consistent
building reporting that is easier to understand
communicating clearly and professionally throughout the process
The focus is not on overcomplicating things or burying business owners in accounting language. The focus is on creating cleaner books and better information so the financial side of the business feels more manageable.
